Prerna Sthal was built in the memory of late Jawaharlal Darda who was one of the great freedom fighter and had contributed a great deal towards the various sections of Maharashtra Government.

- The stones used in the construction of Samadhi were brought from Savner and the marble stones were brought from Makrana .
