Bhandardara
Bhandardara is a holiday resort village on the western coast of India. The village is located in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra state, about 185 kilometers (115 miles) from Mumbai.
Bhandardara is by the Pravara River, and is a mixture of natural beauty, waterfalls, mountains, tranquility, greenery, invigorating air and pristine environment. Randha Bhandardara Lake and falls are the main tourist attractions.

Bhandardara is full of attractions - from Wilson Dam to Arthur Lake. According to legend, Shri Agasti Rishi meditated here for a year, surviving only on water and air, pleased with this show of devotion, God came to Earth and blessed Shri Agasti Rishi with a stream of the Ganges, which is known now as the river Pravara.
From Bhandardara, you can climb to see the Harishchandragad Ratangad and strong. Or, you can follow the trails that lead to Ajoba and Ghanchakkar peaks. Also, if you are up for a challenge, the highest peak in Maharashtra, Mount Kalsubai (1,646 m), stands for you to conquer. The starting point of this hike is difficult Bari Village, located 12 km from Bhandardara. Above, there is a small temple and standing. Standing at the top, you can have panoramic view of Sahyadris and Bhandardara.

Bhandardara is home to Mount Kalsubai, the highest peak (5,400 feet / 1,600 m) in Maharashtra.
Another tourist attraction is the Wilson Dam on the Pravara River, which was built in 1910. The scenic Umbrella Falls also draw visitors, although that can be seen only during the monsoons between July and October. About 10 km away from Shendi Village is Randhaa Falls. The Ratangad strength is only 22 km from Shendi / Bhandardara, and is connected by both road and ferry across Lake Arthur. In the Kalsubai side, at the end of a 22 km road between lush forests and tribal people, is Konkankada from where the views of the plains are breathtaking. Harishchandragad is another place nearby mountain hiking with the ancient temples at the top.
Bhandardara provides plenty of opportunities for short walks and excursions for the adventure lovers. The most interesting and exciting trek is the small trek to strong Ratangad to reach Ratangad strength should take the boat on the small lake near the village Ratanwadi.
Ratanwadi is known for its river cruises. Ratangad is an interesting fortress, situated on the edge of ghats with numerous water cisterns and caves. They are also well seen everywhere and is said to be the strong favorite of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji.
A locality is Anandvaan Resort, located 2,800 meters above sea level. The resort features two views of the lake and hill, where visitors reside in private cabins that vary in size and location.

Wilson Dam, built in 1910 in Rio Pravara, Wilson Dam is located at a height of 150 m above sea level. Dams is one of the oldest in the country. The opening of gates creates two 60 to 80 feet of water waterfalls plummet to the rocks. It is a spectacular sight. Tourists can wander round the garden at the base of the dam.

Arthur Lake: The clear and placid lake is bounded by thick canopied forests of the Sahyadri hills. The lake receives its water from the Pravara River. The lake and its surroundings offer an enchanting spectacle.
Randha Falls: Randha Falls is a great waterfall to visit. The roaring River Pravara descends below a height of 170 feet in a beautiful gorge. However, the falls are magnificent only during the monsoons, and are not as big in other seasons
Ghatghar:
Located 22 km from Bhandardara, Ghatghar is a popular view in the area. It offers a panoramic view of the Sahyadri ranges.
Mount Kalsubai: from Bhandardara Tourist can see the highest peak of the Sahyadri range, Mount Kalsubai. Kalsubai with its height and the view is popular for hiking and so are the hills near Kalsubai. The trek is physically demanding, as Bhandardara is located on a hill and to reach this place you have to do a lot of hiking. Ratnagad: Ratnagad fort was captured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fort is located near the tourist resort Maharashtra and has a wide field of interest to hikers. The fort commands a good view of the surroundings.
Fishing:
This is a popular place for angling. Tourists can observe a large number of fish around here. Tourists can go fishing, but boats are not allowed. [Citation needed ]
